Rama and Krishna

Today, the very first time. I heard that there is a saying "Do what Rama DID and do what Krishna SAID" (രാമൻ ചെയ്തത് ചെയ്യൂ, കൃഷ്ണൻ പറഞ്ഞത് ചെയ്യൂ ).
Ramayana portrays Rama as the most ideal man, some examples as follows
- he was loyal to his father
(left to the forest sacrificing his fortune to
be a King, without any hesitation)
- he was loyal to his wife
(travelled so much distance from Ayodhya
to Lanka to defeat Ravana for Sita)
- he was a responsible and dharmic King
(he sent his wife to forest for his subjects
which shows he placed his country above his
wife, which current generation leaders should
follow )
Rama demonstrated "good" through his "actions" or "life". That was Rama's (or Ramayana's) one of the biggest contribution to human kind. I think, that's why it is said that "do what Rama DID".
During Mahabharata battle, Krishna transformed the "weak" Arjuna to be "strong" to take part in the battle. What Krishna spoke is known as "Bhagavad Gita". In the current world, most of us are like the "weak Arjuna", not knowing what to do in many situations. So, to be strong and clear on what to do in life, do as Krishna said as in Bhagavad Gita. I think that's why it is said that "do what Krishna SAID".
